Hi, I'm James Jeffley. I've spent most of my adult life leading teams and teaching leaders in organizations around the world. Through this journey, I've learned that giving feedback is one of the most challenging—and rewarding—skills to master.

Many leaders struggle with feedback. Some aren’t sure how to deliver it effectively, while others avoid it altogether to sidestep potential conflict. That's why I created the C.L.E.A.R. Feedback model: to help leaders like you provide feedback that's constructive, clear, and impactful.

Why is feedback so important? When people don’t know where they stand, they disengage. Think about personal relationships—if you’re left guessing how your partner feels, it creates distance. The same thing happens at work. Employees need to feel recognized and know they’re on the right path. When someone is off course and doesn’t get the feedback they need, everyone pays the price.
